Dan French founded Super Staff Pros, launched with a mission to empower maintenance super pros with their next dream job.

Dan began his property management & investing career in 2005, starting off by running his own 4-unit buildings.  He’s personally done every aspect of the boots-on-the-ground property management game, including (very poorly!) punching out some of his own maintenance work and even doing some of his own make-readys in the early years.

Very quickly, he realized his aptitude for “mechanical intelligence” was near zero, and ever since that little light bulb went off, he’s kept a profound respect for anyone who uses their brains and hands to make maintenance problems disappear.  In fact, it’s so opposite his skillset that he often stands back in amazement as he watches maintenance geniuses do their thing.  That respect is at the heart of Super Staff Pros.  

After running small deals from 2005-2011, Dan joined a team that ultimately purchased and owned over 17,000 apartments across the U.S.  He served as CEO from 2016 - 2024, and was sure to never lose touch with the importance of the on-site maintenance teams as the backbone of property performance. 

Dan wants Super Staff Pros to help our “super-pros” find their next dream job, but is also passionate about building a community of maintenance professionals who have each other’s back, helping each other learn about new training, technology, job opportunities and just generally support each other.  Community is where the magic of business happens.

Dan is also a husband and father of four children and his proudest title of all is: DAD. He serves on multiple Boards in the Austin area and has previously served as Founding Chair of Cristo Rey Tampa, a Catholic Prep High School that serves students from economically disadvantaged families, with the aim of a 100% college acceptance rate.
